Project Manager Steve C went out to take a look at the concerns the homeowners were having with the sagging floors and cracked floor joist . Steve told the homeowners you can usually remedy sagging problems yourself by “sistering” new joists alongside the existing ones (this also works for stiffening bouncy floors) Steve also recommendation was to add 3 new 4x4 support columns placed on 16x16 solid concrete footers ..First crew Foreman Robert remove electrical cables, pipes and other obstructions. If this is difficult (it often is!), consult your local building inspector ...If a crack or sag is isolated to one area, the sister joist should extend at least 3 ft. on both sides of the problem area. But it’s usually best to run the sister joist over the entire span. When the sagging joists are level, apply a generous bead of construction adhesive to the existing joist. After we was all finish the clients noticed a big difference !

Project Manager Steve Custus arrived at the home to inspect the foundation . Upon inspection, Steve instantly knew that this problem could be solved with our patent crack repair solution . Steve explained in great detail how this product would solve the problem. After consideration, the homeowner knew that this would be the perfect solution for her basement wall crack and decided to move forward with the project. The advantages of Techni-crack include: Cannot leak or reopen like mortar-based repairsPermanently stops water leakage through basement wall cracks. Compatible with our GrateDrain perimeter drainage systemThis system is a permanent solution and will solve all the concerns. Unlike other “quick fixes” such as applying masonry sealant or patching the crack with mortar. These methods are not likely to fix the problem because any slight movement along the crack can break the seal. After the entire system was installed, the crack was no longer a worry to the homeowner and they can finally sell there home . Do you have a crack in your basement wall that leaks air and moisture? Do not let this affect your basement. Give us a call to schedule your FREE no obligation estimate at 215-885-2424

Project Manager Brandon G went out to meet with the homeowners and after Brandon explain the effect that the crawlspace was having on their home and health it was very eye opening for the homeowners for instance think of your house like a chimney. Air enters at the bottom, rises through the structure, and exit through the top. It all has to do with air pressure. Air flows from areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure. When there is a greater difference between indoor and outdoor temperatures, the more significant this airflow becomes. (Source: Fine Homebuilding) Others may call it the stack effect... So by improving the air in the crawlspace you will improve the air quality on the upper levels of the home .Project Manager : Brandon GCrew Foreman Lamier R New Hope PAIf you or someone have any questions regarding your crawlspace please give us a call 215-885-2424 Jamison Basement Waterproofing .

Project manager Tim S went out to meet with the New Jersey homeowners to do a full basement inspection .. Tim provided the homeowners with a healthy basement level 1 a full perimeter ( closed ) Grate Drain drainage system moisture vapor to protect against wall leakage . Victor and his team moved any objects blocking the perimeter of all 4 sides of the wall to the middle of the basement and covered them with plastic to ensure maximum protection. Than set up negative air for dust control, Then the perimeter of the walls is excavated in order to install the GrateDrain ( closed ) drainage system . Once dug up, the WaterGuard system is placed and the space is filled back up with gravel, then concrete is placed back on top to seal it back up 100% Next, the GrateSump pumps needs to be installed in the low spot of the basement . Once the GrateSump Sump Pump is installed, a discharge line needs to be determined and then placed. A discharge line is where the water is channeled out of the basement, passing through the freeze stop , then is released through the catch basin .. Now with a waterproofed basement, this New Jersey homeowner can enjoy a dry, clean basement, all thanks to Jamison Basement Waterproofing Wet basement? Call for your FREE estimate at 215-885-2424

Project Manager Steve C educated the homeowner on the importance the downspout in that it’s job is to redirects the water away from your foundation by taking the water that it collects within your gutters and pushing it through the vertical tube that runs alongside the home. Your downspouts are often found at the corners of your home where gutters meet. However, downspouts can be at any point that is low. Steve recommended that step 1 was getting all the rain water away from the foundation. Steve than drew up a drainage plan to move all the water from the rain gutters below ground into a 4 inch PVC pipe that would discharge the water 100 ft to the rare of the home ...

This wasn’t the first time we’ve been called to fix the work of another company; it wasn’t even the first time this month. This was one of the worst systems we’ve pulled out, though; at a few places in the basement water was coming up where the old and new concrete meet . Once the extent of the problem was discovered, we scheduled our waterproofing and foundation crews to work in tandem and get the job done as efficiently as possible. The first step was to open back up the floor and move the waterproofing system off the footer to infront the foundation footer to provide proper pitch .. We installed a full perimeter of GrateDrain , our below-floor drainage system. The GrateDrain sits below the footer which allows it to collect incoming water and move it fast to the GrateSump... Now the homeowners has a high efficient waterproofing drain system ..

And from his findings he came up with the solution of to removed the debris and sprayed a Mold treatment to prep for the Crawlspace encapsulation. But first To direct water out of the crawl space, Jamison installed a new GrateSump pump. If water enters the crawl space, it flows beneath the CleanSpace liner, across drainage matting into the drainage system to the sump pump. The SuperSump then pumps the water out of the space through a discharge line 15ft away from the house. We also removed the rotted wood supports and installed steel piers for proper support.Than the durable 16 mil thick liner made of many layers of polyester cord reinforcement. Mechanically fastened on the walls and florof the crawl space . The CrawlSheild provides a barrier for any water that may enter the Crawlspace space. One of the greatest top benefits of CrawlSheild is the antimicrobial additive manufactured into the liner. Once the system and gravel is placed, the area is sealed back up with cement. The idea behind this product is to catch any water and allow it to flow through the system before entering the basement. The water flows through the Grate Drain and then is led to a Grate sump pump. The sump pump then collects the water and pumps it away from the house through a discharge line. This innovated system allows the basement to stay dry.
