Jamison Basement Waterproofing installed a Interior drainage system around the crawlspace/ 2 high Volume dehumidifiers / full encapsulation , a drainage matting to help direct water to the GrateSumps system, 2 carbon fiber structural crack repairs .. Crew Foreman Lamier R came out to do the installations in the Crawlspace & Basement The installation began by installing the drainage system, which was installed around the perimiter of the crawlspace. Any water entering the crawlspace would enter the drainage system , either by water running down the crawlspace wall, or came up through the ground. The drainage matting was installed first on the crawlspace floor, and has special dimples on theunderside to also help channel water to the GrateSump in the low spot of the crawlspace. For maximum moisture protection, the team installed 2 High volume dehumidifiers with a discharge line to empty the water straight into the sump pits without having to dump any buckets . Far as the basement Waterproofing part of the job we provided the clients with a level 2 healthy basement certificate a full perimeter #GrateDrain drainage system with inspection ports throughout the system . We also drilled weep holes in the block foundation to drain any water in the walls , and installed a high volume dehumidifier to control moisture . This wasn’t the first time we’ve been called to fix the work of another company; it wasn’t even the first time this month. This was one of the worst systems we’ve pulled out, though; at a few places in the basement water was coming up where the old & new concrete meet . Once the extent of the problem was discovered, we scheduled our waterproofing and foundation crews to work in tandem and get the job done as efficiently as possible. The first step was to open back up the floor and move the waterproofing system off the footer to infront the foundation footer to provide proper pitch .. We installed a full perimeter of GrateDrain , our below-floor drainage system. The GrateDrain sits below the footer which allows it to collect incoming water and move it fast to the GrateSump... Now the homeowners has a high efficient waterproofing drain system ..

When record-breaking rain fall this summer ! To help keep Sabu basement dry all the time, our project manager Steve Custus installed a full perimeter (Closed drainage) system along the inside perimeter of the basement, He also installed a two new Grate Sump kits with battery back and 2 inch discharge line to handle any amount of rain. When one pump fails or can't keep up, another pump kicks in to help out. To protect the basement from future wall leaks we installed a full moisture vapor barrier on the walls as well , Outside, our crew installed an freeze stops to prevent floods from a frozen discharge linen! With plans to finish the basement in the near future Sabu didn’t want to take any chances ! Now he can finally say he has a Dry Basement
