Job completed for Matt R

Completion date: February 20, 2020

Location: Wayne, PA

Why did the customer contact us?

After the well known Wayne PA builders built an new addition for one of their clients the new crawlspace foundation started to take on water almost immediately , after trying to solve the problem on their own and their clients still wasn’t satisfied they knew they had to get a waterproofing expert to resolve this issue ASAP so that’s when they reached out to us at Jamison Basement Waterproofing.....

What challenges did we face?

The challenges we faced was having to work and a crawlspace of a brand new addition . This was very difficult because the clients spent a ton of money and everything was brand new I mean everything and we couldn’t get a piece of dirt or dust on anything...

Solutions provided:

Senior project manager Steve Custus with over 16years experience went out to meet with the builders who built the new addition ..

The best solution for this problem was to install the GrateDrain drainage system, a GrateSump sump pump, and a moisture vapor barrier on the crawlspace walls

Foreman Kareem B and his team performed the installations. The process began with the preparation protecting all the clients items , and dust control . The GrateSump pump pit was the first thing the crew installed than they move on to jack-hammer the floor around the perimeter of the crawlspace . They cleaned the concrete dust from the area and laid a layer of crushed stone down. The GrateDrain drainage system was pitched down hill connecting to the sump pump pit , after that fresh cement was poured and leveled around the perimeter to provide a smooth finish.
