Mrs Konjarvich had her basement waterproofed about 15years ago and now the company is out of business and she is getting water in the basement . And the major problem now is that the Basement is finished so all she can see in heavy rains water coming in under her finish wall . So she gave us a call at Jamison Basement Waterproofing to get to the bottom of it ...
What challenges did we face?
The challenges we face were that we had a totally finish basement with carpet in everything so our Senior project manager Steve had to find the leak first so he started and outside water test to locate leak .
Solutions provided:
Steve seen this problem a few times so he knew how to approach this one . After finding the leak he recommended removing the lower portion of the wall than We installed some new drainage system also Parge up the wall where the mud was washing into the basement and we tested her existing sump pump . Problem solve and the homeowner was happy she didn't have to replace her whole entire existing drainage system .
