The garage ceiling, left unfinished, had exposed beams and an unappealing appearance. Additionally, the foundation wall in the showed signs of wear, including cracks and damaged stucco, which compromised the garage moisture resistance and overall appearance.

Our team developed a two pronged approach to address both the garage ceiling and the foundation wall issues effectively:

1. Garage Ceiling Painting:
• Cleaning and Preparation: We began by thoroughly cleaning the garage ceiling, removing dust, cobwebs, and any grease or stains. This ensured a smooth and clean surface for the paint.
• Sealing the Surface: To further enhance the ceiling’s durability, we applied a high-quality primer designed to prevent moisture buildup and improve adhesion.
• Black Paint Application: We then applied a durable, matte black paint to the ceiling. This not only gave the garage a sleek, modern appearance but also helped reduce the visibility of dust and stains while making the space feel more polished.

2. Basement Foundation Wall Stucco Repair:
• Surface Cleaning and Prep: To begin the stucco repair, we cleaned the foundation wall, removing loose debris, dirt, and moisture. This was crucial to creating a proper bond for the new stucco.
• Crack and Damage Repair: We patched all visible cracks and chipped areas with high-quality stucco repair material, ensuring the surface was smooth and stable. This also helped prevent moisture from seeping into the wall.
• Reapplication of Stucco: Once the cracks were sealed, we applied a fresh coat of stucco to the wall, restoring the original texture and appearance while also enhancing the wall’s waterproofing capabilities.
• Waterproofing Layer: As an additional safeguard, we applied a waterproofing sealant over the new stucco to protect against future moisture infiltration and mold growth.
