The Philadelphia homeowner called Jamison Basement Waterproofing because she wanted to deal with the ground water seepage problem that had started happening after heavy downpours in her basement . The problem has been going since the start of the spring rains and the basement is partially finished and during times of heavy rainfall, water was entering the Basement from under the finished walls, creating a very unhealthy environment.
Project manager Steve Custus went out right away to do a full basement inspection and from that basement inspection him an the homeowner came up with the solution to prevent water from entering the home by installing the GrateDrain award winning sub floor drainage system . GrateDrain has large openings in it that allows water from the floor to easily enter and drain after entering the drain the water will be removed from the home by the homeowners existing Sump pump .
To provide 24hr protection from pump failure and power outage we installed a battery back to give the homeowner peace in mind .
