Completion date: October 5, 2017

Location: Blue Bell, PA

Why did the customer contact us?

The Blue Bell homeowner used this new addition part of the basement for storage. They put holiday decorations, and sporting equipment in the basement for safe keeping. However, the basement block walls were always damp and they were starting to worry. So that’s when they call the professional at Jamison Basement Waterproofing.

What challenges did we face?

The Challenges we faced were jack hammering through a new 6inch solid poured floor ..

Solutions provided:

Basement Waterproofing Specialist Ed inspected the property and met with the homeowner . With over 15Years of training and experience Ed told the homeowner that her basement needed a sump pump and sub-floor drainage system to keep up with the amount of incoming water and a high volume dehumidifier to reduce the humidity.

Senior Crem Foreman Dwight Custus was on site bright and early to get this project underway . The first day was just demo removing about 10 inches of the solid concrete floor from around the perimeter and drilling weep holes n the block wall to relieve hydrostatic pressure. Than the next day they came back and installed the new Grate`Sump and (Closed Drainage ) system with fresh concrete .

Now the homeowners have a lifetime transferable warranty that their basement I’ll be free of ground water seepage for the life of the home ! If you have a wet basement in Blue Bell pa please give the experts a call at Jamison Basement Waterproofing
