What challenges did we face?

Solutions provided:
Project manager Steve Custus recommend our 4ft Grate Drain drain doorway entry drain that will channel water to the homeowners existing Sump Basin . We also upgraded the homeowners sump pump to a half horsepower pump that can pump 3900 gallons of water per hour from the basement.
Now for the first time in years the homeowner doesn't have to worry when it rains ..
