The Sellersville homeowners call us after finding water on their basement floor around their heating unit . Their first thought was that the water was ground water seepage . So that's when they gave us a call at Jamison Basement Waterproofing. After project manager Steve went out we discover later that the water was from the water softener Discharge, but Steve also found ground water seepage and both of crawlspaces so we had to address them issues .
Project Manager Steve Custus Recommended two Grate Sumps for both Crawlspace along with Drainage matting to channel any surface water to the new Grate sumps . Than to control the humidity & moisture we installed a full encapsulation of both Crawlspaces .
Foremen Ken Mcknight and crew went out to protect this home from ground water seepage and moisture vapors , because at Jamison Basement Waterproofing we understand the stack effect very well . 50% of the air from the lower levels of the home like the basement & crawlspace gets pulled through the upper levels of the home almost like a chimney .
Now that the job is complete the homeowners have around 600sq ft of dry useable storage space .
