Why did the customer contact us?
The homeowners in New Hope contacted us after moving in their new home and noticed water seepage during heavy rains in one corner of the basement next to the oil tank .
What challenges did we face?
The Challenges we faced were the dirt crawlspace opening was not seal property so we took it a step further and pour concrete at the entrance and than encapsulated it properly to seal moisture from the dirt crawlspace out .
Solutions provided:
Project Manager Steve went out on a rainy day and was able to see where the water was coming into the basement at . So he proposal a Grate-Sump with full vapor barrier because the basement walls had signs of water seepage as well . The vapor Barrier will drain any wall leaks down into the Grate Drain Drainage system that will channel the water to the Grate Sump to be removed away from the home .
